Fighting is easily this match's worst possible choice, followed by Ghost and Poison. Electric is also a good option, being effective against Sigilyph and Slowking with no weakness to Olympia's available attacks. It would have complete immunity against Psychic and resistant to anything Meowstic has to offer.
Even Olympia's key Pokémon, Meowstic, has three attack types with only four strengths. It is definitely not diverse enough to cover a broad range of types since the attacks share a lot of strengths, except Slowking's Power Gem that lacks a STAB. There are five Trainers here you can beef up on before you reach Olympia. Simply walk down the paths and into the warp portals, battling any Trainers that might be in your way. Return to the room and continue north until you run into Team Flare again harassing a helpless Pokémon. Once you reach another large ice room, there's a narrow opening on the right you can slide to that will lead you to a small room containing TM79 Frost Breath. The female NPC there will heal your Pokémon, so be sure to do so before going up the next two flights of stairs. Hop off your Pokémon and slide to the left and then down to the stairs.

After battling the hiker, you need to slide diagonally from the back to get to the next patch to the left.Ĭontinue going east until you reach water and surf all the way down. You'll end at another patch of snow where you have to slide to the far left from the middle. Then slide: Down > Right > Down > Left > Up. Slide across the ice to the top and walk as far right as possible. You can't change direction on the sliding ice until an object stops your forward movement. The following section is a bit of a puzzle. As you edge up to the end of the screen, you'll want to take the right staircase up past the Ace Trainer. Upon entering, make your way left down the slippery path. Your prodigous presence distracts them and forces another battle. Inside, Team Flare is pressuring the Poké Ball President to side with them. From there, take the belt at the bottom of the steps to a set of stairs that leads up again. Leave and find the control panel south of the office. Talking to staff there, you'll learn you need to reverse the belt direction in order to proceed. On the catwalks, you can heal your Pokémon in the office on the northwest corner. You'll find another set of belts there you need to take which lead you to a set of stairs to climb to reach the catwalks. You progress through much of this place by conveyor belt, so ride along the first one you see until the end.
Your Rival takes care of the first grunt, so you can run ahead. Talk to her and she creates a distraction while you and and your Rival slip in unnoticed.
